Hi guys.

Did anyone own Meta with MEGNEG ? is it a good idea?
im thinking about it as am strungling to find a setup where I have enough of a pop and support but still have some small bump compliance . And when I do have a small bump compliance then I bottom out every ride.

Thank you

I don't have a Meta, but I put one on my Santa Cruz Bronson V3 and am happy with it. For just $90.00 and the ease of installation, it's definitely worth a try.

What's your positive volume spacer count like? Played with that much yet?

Here's the leverage curve for reference. At 17% progression, the V4.2 could be a decent candidate for a MegNeg. You should be able to run a bit less sag for added small bump while getting more support deeper in it as you desire. Since it is pretty progressive, it could also lead to some added harshness deeper in the stroke with some negative band configurations, but luckily there is room to adjust. Unfortunately, there are no clear/fast rules for the MegNeg.

In addition to the negative bands, you may need to adjust the positive volume spacer size to really dial things in.

There are some additional insights in this video review:
