Hey guys,
I recently broke my left wrist for the third time. As I already had some trouble with it after the second break, I want to purchase a wrist brace.
The Allsport Dynamics IMC model seems a good choice to begin with. I read all about it on their website and saw the test on Vital, but I don't quite understand what the difference between the strapping systems is?
There is the Lacer, Sport and Speed version. I can see that they use different systems, but what is the most appropriate for me, or are there any disadvantages to one of them?
The Speed version is quite a bit cheaper, but doesn't seem do have any straps at all.
Can someone shed some light on this, because I can't find any information about this.
Thanks a lot!

yes I've got one since September 2015. I got the Lacer version, as this was the one you reviewed and I'm very happy with it.
But the crash wasn't that bad and I did a lot of training to my wrist and it still broke, so just wearing the brace gives me my confidence back.
The last few years I also had some moments where I slightly overextended it in a crash, my hand didn't even touch the ground, but I held onto the bar for too long and as a result I couldn't even hold a glass of water for like 2-3 weeks afterwards.
This hasn't happened yet, but I think the brace will prevent this, which would be a relieve.
I got the Allsports IMC Lacer brace for over a year now and I'm very happy with it.
It has very little to no wear (even though I ride like 2-3 times a week at least) and it's very comfortable, I don't think about it at all anymore, even though I never ride without it!
Maybe I'll upgrade to a more expensive carbon version sometime in the future, but I can't think of any reason why, except the bling factor.
It brings me back to re-watch this slideshow review. Glad those days are over with!
We are the exclusive manufacturer of the patented wrist brace system that many of the top MX pros today are wearing: Shane McElrath, Jimmy Albertson, Justin Bogle, Broc Tickle, Justin Barcia and others.
As many, including myself, have found out, this is not a product that you want to ride without. It is not a product that you want to wait until you break or severely injure your wrist to add to your standard riding gear. This is a must have, and does not, in any way, hinder your riding ability, in fact, you don't even notice them when you ride, but you will be thankful for them when you come up short, case a jump, or crash.
DONT WAIT UNTIL YOU NEED THEM, GET THEM FOR INJURY PREVENTION AND PROTECTION.
We also work with doctors and physical therapy offices and sports medicine clinics who can write prescriptions for the brace if you have a previous injury and can provide medical insurance coding so that they can be approved and billed to medical insurance companies.
I will include the link below for our website so that you can check out our available products, but I am offering special pricing for Vital MTB and Vital MX members who contact me and mention this post, placing their orders through me directly.
You can private message me here, email me at jc22_asd@yahoo.com or call or text me, Jason at 818-321-0057 for more info.
