Jack Moir off Canyon confirmed. I don't know where he went, but he is definitley no longer with Canyon Factory Racing.
YT seems the most likely. They are hiring riders like crazy right now. They'll most likely have teams lined up for both EWS and WC DH for the 2024 season.
Mark Wallace is apparently also no longer with Canyon.

Brand withdrawing from sponsoring ahtletes when the bike market was crazy enough that they didn't need to advertise to sell all their inventory in order to maximize profit, now restarting to sponsor athletes ... shows you how much they actually care about supporting bike racing and the development of our sport, keep an eye for those as many implemented this strategy of dropping teams like dirt socks at all the levels and disciplines of our sport.

how YT endet their previous commitments definitely left a bitter taste. wouldn‘t trust a word coming from them before seeing the contract if i was a racer.
Might not be anything, but at ~11:40 of Jack Moir's Loudenvielle race day vlog, Ed Masters has the camera and makes a joke to Remi after a crash - "looks like you've been on a rocky mountain, or am I forbidden from saying that".

Could RemRem be off to the synthesis?
only see the RM-team splitting up if rocky decides to stop funding a factory team.
or, just maybe, the quick-witted Eddie Masters was referring with impeccable comic timing to the gentleman in the Forbidden jersey standing next to Remi in the above screenshot

The rocky team also has had a buddy/good times vibe for so long it would be a shame for that team to change drastically, but at this point I'm sure he's got some big options. Rocky is a pretty small company compared to some of the others, especially since they dumped their city and road lines to focus on mountain, and unless the other sponsors are footing the bill they may not have the budget to hold him long term. He's got to do him. I remember in the last couple seasons rocky re-upped the team so I wonder when that's up.
And since he's likely reading this, congrats Jesse!
I am. And thank you! So happy to bring it home.
Wish I could tell you all I know, but that would ruin your fun!

The peoples champ. I can't think of a person more universally cheered for then you man. It always seems like everyone wants to see you win, even your competitors. It's always awesome seeing a talented, hard working and nice person having the success and recognition they deserve.

I took it that he was just calling out all the names of non-canyon bikes as a wind up for the MoiMoi TV blog.
He started with his Pivot, then Charlie's Specialized, then Rocky and Forbidden.
Not a team rumor, so sorry for bumping this thread with something slightly ot but I had no where else to put this. Greg Minnar and Nina Hoffman were at the fox head HQ last night for an open house and my wife wanted to go down and meet them. She's a big fan of UCI DH and has always had a crush on the goat and is a big Nina Hoffman fan. We ended up getting to meet and talk to both.
Nina in particular, was so effing nice to my wife. My wife got into MTB about 2.5 years ago, ended up shattering her hand (3 metacarpel spiral fractures with 18 screws and 3 plates) this past april. Nina was so supportive to her and engaged in conversation about my wife's riding and recovery experience. Receiving feedback from some one that my wife looks up to with regards to riding was a huge confidence boost for her and it really helped her get fired up to get back to herself on the bike.
At any rate, I'm stoked that the syndicate has a female rider now and Nina couldn't be a better choice for that slot. She was gracious and humble and speaks to her fans as if she's known them for years.
It's hard not to be excited about the progression and vibes in women's mountain biking at the moment. We for sure need more of it.
P.S. No pictures for proof. My wife and I are pretty anti social media, especially when it comes to public figures. But I know my wife will remember when Nina gave her the confidence to keep pushing and get back on the horse.

Yeah not surprised, Nina in every interview or clip comes across as a super friendly, fun and chilled person.
She's an awesome ambassador for the sport.

Looks like they could be getting a sneak peak / advising on the lower 1199 DH Track that continues from the Upper 1199 DH track in the Creekside zone that was used at the EWS this season.
I heard no Whistler DH World Cup. But who knows. (side note for those that do not know, 1199 is the amount of points Stevie got when he beat Gee in the overall in 2013).
On the topic of canyon news contracts, a friend of mine was at the les gets DH world champs and saw Dim Tordo. My friend asked if Dim wished he was racing, and got a reply saying he'd love to race the track and thinks he'd do well on the fast flat out les gets track but also that he would have to change teams if he wanted to dabble in any DH racing.
Essentially inferring that canyon won't let their enduro racers race world cups alongside the ews. Not sure if other teams have similar things written into contracts but it seems strange when quite a few riders dabble in both e.g. both masters brothers, Connor fear, Martin mass from time to time

Not saying it isn't true, but it would be a real weird move for them.
Definitely seems odd since they are prototyping a full DH bike, versus the Range with custom links, under Kirk at a few races this season. Seemed like they were committed to DH racing. We did see Devinici coming in and out of DH after Stevie's passing as well though (also with Kirk funnily enough). Hope Norco Factory sticks around.
Stoked to see progress on 1199 track. I assume that when it is built they will have a test event or two (Crankworx, BC Cup etc) before bidding on a World Cup. Would be so awesome to be able to attend a WCDH every summer in person as I live in Vancouver. Especially as my kids start getting older would be cool to see if it inspired them to get into racing.
And then everything starts transitioning towards the big big bike teams of road racing having massive backing through large commercial sponsors we’ll see what advertising looks like with the new media drivers

Picking up a Wish.com sponsorship?
Wishes he could spill the beans, but can't...because he's Forbidden to?

What if Norco sees the writing on the wall with new UCI fees, and has decided to just bail?
If so, that would be horrible, and could start other teams revisiting cost / benefit for MTB team publicity /promotion.
