I thought the worst thing was the name until I saw the cable routing.

It could've been bearable if they didn't used the worst possible headset brand for the construction, but that headset will shot itself in the head with 4-5 months of usage

New Canyon Strive, will be slacker than previous. Shapeshifter looks without updates. But head tube cups are adjustable, just like latest Sender. Yout can adujst reach or even headtube angle. We'll see.

Looks like internal cable routing port on the HT, and no cables running down the DT through the shock mounts like the current version.
Thank god they didn't go with some through the headset cable routing.

Can see an '11' on the top tube... Wonder if it's just the long overdue alu version or if they've updated/tweaked it somehow

Interesting seatstay design, I'd expect it would make more sense to make them thinner near the rocker rather than the other way around...

Can confirm the sightings of the new Strive, I've seen it in person on a trail near Koblenz (where Canyon HQ is located). The guys were doing some sort of suspension telemetry.

It's also a lot burlier than the old Strive. Like, seriously a lot. Comparable to something like a Scott Ransom. The downtube is so thick that you could almost think it's an e-bike. It also now has a somewhat simplified Horst Link setup, the Horst pivot is now slightly lower and directly in front of the rear axle.

Shapeshifter seems very similar to the old one, but I couldn't really tell if it was any different, because of the cover.

At least visually, the head angle didn't seem very slack though and the bike didn't seem overly long aswell.

I've talked to the guys and they said that the bike is fully production ready and will launch this spring.

I have no idea which bike you’re talking about. There have been like 5 in the last page

Oh no, someone upset about ebikes! Anyway

nah not upset, i just think they're still ugly as fuck compared to mountainbikes, and the rest of Transitions line is pretty good looking.

ride what you want, I won't judge you for taking viagra or riding the elevator either

no idea why eebers always feel personally attacked when you say something remotely bad about ebikes

I know it's older news by now but I was thinking about NA-based frames I'm excited for and realised I hadn't seen this image on here so here's another look at the full sus Chromag seems to be working on...
From my understanding, it's not exactly hush-hush and they are seen a lot around Whis, but they haven't released it yet

WTF that is a high pivot for 2022!
Classic... They got on their new bikes a couple weeks before season kicks off. (And DAK's first ride on a high pivot) ... As we know it takes a while for a rider to learn how to ride/corner a high pivot. Especially one that high. Timing will setup DAK perfect for the season! (Sarcasm)

Looks like Intense will unfortunately be riding 'prototype' bikes all season again as this thing seems half-baked haha.

dak already rode a HP-bike with the devinci wilson proto that was never released.
first people were complaining that only AG got tge new bike, now it seems the other team riders also got on the new ride and people are still complaining.
did anyone complain when not every commencal rider was on the new proto? don‘t think so!!

Yeah but Commencal already had a winning formula in their previous HP bike. Also, Intense has a much smaller team to provide bikes for.

The 'complaint' is that Intense is getting the (completely new and different) bike to DAK a couple weeks before the season kicks off even thought they build frames in house and have been working on this project for since last summer--if not much earlier. It often takes months for a riders at this level to feel at one with his/her bike.

He looks happy to me! I’d rather be ‘learning a new HP’ than posting on the net :-)

Sounds good, can't wait. I want to upgrade my Spectral CF.
