Official Swiss distributor confirmed that Giant is working on new Reign, but without providing any detail or release date.
Have you guys heard anything about it?
I said quite a few posts back that this looks like a Cascade components upgrade link. I'm holding to that opinion. The changes would also fit their M.O.

Maybe... but the upper shock mount change is drastic (not their M.O.) and then there's that seat post...

The milling pattern on the upper link looks quite a bit different than the Cascade Enduro link. I'd expect Cascade wouldd use a similar design since they're both the Spec 6-bar layout. I think it's more likely that it's Spec trying things out for a new Kinevo (non-SL).
Plus it doesn't explain the prototype wireless dropper. Cascade wouldn't be running / testing that.

I can see the resemblance, but so far Cascade hasn't done anything (I think with the exception of the Ripmo V2 and new long-stroke Levo links) with multiple parts, and this looks way more extensive. A new upper link, 'pull' link, and shock mount together would probably cost at least twice as much as anything CC currently sells.
Cascade has nothing to do with that Specialized, it's the new suspension layout Wheelbased covered a while ago. It has to do with making enough room to stick a motor in the BB:

One nitpick.
Let's all repeat. Specialized bikes ARE NOT 6-bar.

Is this a proto rear triangle/dropouts in Cathro's story?

Is this a proto rear triangle/dropouts in Cathro's story?
It’s the extended chainstay bodge that Greg has been using for a while now. At 2m tall Cathro probably could benefit from the extra length in the rear centre.
New Saracen DH frame confirmed for Veronika Widmann. It could be just a custom sized frame like the one Walker was using, but the Myst hasn't been updated in a few years.
Judging from the second pic, there is clearly an idler wheel, so High Pivot, and pivots by the dropouts, not sure whether they will be on the chainstay or seatstay though? So no more VPP…
If that’s a rocker link then I think we can expect something looking similar to a Trek or GT fury…
Quite possibly what Gwin was riding with Neko that looked like a session?

Buuut I think that time is always going to be the limiting factor with SLS as your primary manufacturing process. The frame shown in the video has a print time of 20 hours! Meaning that if they're running at absolute maximum capacity they could put out 365 frames per year (let's ignore weekends, bank holidays and failures for argument's sake). They probably need 20ish frames per year for the race team and development - that's already 6% of their gross income for the year gone.
Then when you factor in all of labour hours - machine set-up, grinding and polishing, gluing, outsourced CNC milling and painting, and assembly - the profit margin on each frame is going to be extremely limited on an already tiny production run. And is all of this going to be able to foot the bill for the growing Atherton family, all of the staff and a world cup race team? Unfortunately I'm sceptical.
They bought 4 printers after the kickstarter thing the ran. Also maybe they can fit two of those frame bits on each print?

Uhm, where exactly do you see pivots on the dropouts? To me they look like part of a whole triangle, so my guess would be some sort of high-pivot VPP/virtual pivot, a la Canfield Jedi, but not sure if there’s gonna be problems with the patents.
Benoit Coulanges from Dorval AM Commencal also spotted on the new version of the Supreme DH bike. Can’t wait to see these guys racing on the new version.
