BTW, a works team in motorsport means an official factory team.
Audi's Le Mans effort was a factory effort, but trackside operation was handled by the Joest racing team in an official manner. Same goes for Toyota and the Oreca team, Mercedes F1 engines are developed in the UK by the High Performance Engines division , a different division (ex. Honds/Brawn team) handles chassis and aero development, etc. All are still factory teams. Or works teams.

Transfer Rumors confirmed by Swiss Bike Magazine.

Transfer Rumors confirmed by Swiss Bike Magazine.
Loris Vergier to Syndicate along with Luca Shaw.
Troy Brosnan to Canyon Factory Team
Dany Hart to Trek Werksteam and not Factory Team.
Sam Blenki maybe to Speci with Loic
Manon Carpenter to Radon Factory Team, Carina Capellaris contract is over.
The Syndicate stuff i think is all but confirmed, as is the Manon to Radon rumour.
Brosnan to Canyon i think will happen, plus another two riders if they're looking to make a splash with the new bike (possibly Macdonald and a female?)
Hart to Trek just seems so unlikely, especially with the amount of budget they have dropped on the Athertons, Harts demands (and he will have them, savvy little businessman he is) would lead anyone to believe its a one or the other situation, if its even true... which i doubt.
Blenki to Specialized- possibly but i doubt it, If Norco have another marquee rider lined up who could get some podiums with the new DH rig then it wouldnt make sense to keep Blenki, however, part of Blenki's draw from a manufacturers perspective is that he does pretty well at both WC and Enduro races, with Norco bringing out a new Range you'd have to think that keeping a guy who can market both would be a pretty good idea.
Was just thinking about ratboy . If he was retiring he would just come out and say so at the end of the season . Why would he wait ? What for ?
I think it's just a ploy and he's going to a new team . Either a peaty led team or to intense with palmer .
The syndicate hasn't seemed as together this season as in the past . 'Maybe there were some tensions in the build up to whatever is coming .
Just as much of a confirmation as you need I guess. Radon has tagged Manon Carpenter in their latest Facebook post

There's usually an embargo on announcements until the contract expires. He's probably under contract until the end of the year.
Even so, he's not going to disappear from the scene all together. He still has lots of fans and followers so he'll still have sponsors. I imagine Santa Cruz will continue to supply him with bikes considering their history. Like somebody mentioned, he wants to keep plugging his clothing line by releasing homemade 'edits' for the kids. The sponsors will still want to be a part of it, at least in the short term.
And when they aren't, he'll start racing world cups again :-)
Its been mentioned he had been posting with gt and sombrio tags until November started. I've just noticed he also hasn't tagged them since and has posted pics of him riding for Trek WR and MS, which he was doing none of before since he started with GT.....
Riders often sell their racing and spare bikes in the off season for some cash. Back in the day you could buy these in their preferred bike shops, today I guess it's the internet, obviously.
Some interesting rumours here in the last couple of hours, for sure!
I no vividly remember the interaction between Troy and Rachel at Val di Sole, after the race, while Sven was taking shots for his feature with her. It was one the funniest things I've ever seen on the circuit. Troy trying Rachel's bike and being self-ironic and Rach poking fun at him, while Sven was grabbing sound bites that you might have heard in the gallery. These are two people pretty much at the top of their game, enjoying some off time in a friendly environment. Very down to earth and at the same time hilarious! Here you can see Troy checking if the Session has all the proper features:

Canyon probably..
- Velosolutions still with Scott
- Neko Mullaly off Scott, maybe to Pivot or Ibis (!!!)
Seems like Ibis is working on a DH bike... you heared it here first boys! ;-)
Personally I'm happy just to watch @brynatkinson slap some cutties.
There will also be no Devinci Global Racing for 2017 which puts Mark Wallace up for grabs.
