So probably an Öhlins prototype, but where does that picture come from, it's not on his instagram..?
I screen grabbed the pic from instagram and its been taken down since, someone else has done the same and its still on their feed but you'll have to search pretty good to find it haha.
Its Loics telemetry bike he's always used a black and yellow one oath all the bells and whistles on it
One day after World Champs I saw Minnaar was testing float x2 with fox guys all day long and loic was testing ohlins shock and fork (boxxer with ohlins internals)

It wouldn't be too hard to make a dual crown fork using the RXF36 lowers. Stiff, light,160mm travel, 29" wheel downhill fork :-)
Öhlins do make a cartridge for the Boxxer, the only thing that suggest its an Öhlins fork is the crowns, but they could also be custom crowns, wouldn't be the first time.
I for one hope this doesn't mean they have given up on the inverted design, but guess we'll just have to wait to see.

Could be, but the topcap of the existing Boxxer cartridge has a bleed valve and adjustment screw on it. This cap is identical to the RFX36 cap, suggesting that the damper assembly is in the left fork leg (where the spring is in a Boxxer).
Devinci website no longer showing carbon Wilson, only alloy options listed. Perhaps it was a decision made after the season to no longer invest in it...

With the alloy frame performing well (and actually being preferred by Dirt in their comparison of ride quality between the two), maybe the numbers didn't add up.

Well I don't think the 6 means much. The tech manager for team specialized gravity posted another pic of a telemetry bike of Loic's with "Demo 2" on the top tube.

The different numberd frames could correspond to different suspension/drivetrain setups from a variety of different companies all trying to win the bid for next season.... Test them all, let the riders choose their favorite?
Now we all know the new Syndicate Team rider ;)
Do you recognize him?

I guess that confirms Loris on Syndicate then, given the fox socks in the picture.
^^Which fits the Shaw/Minnaar/Vergier Syndicate rumor, with the Syndicate allowing for different apparel sponsors within the team: TLD, Fox, and Oneal.

Plus, it looks like the air cap, not the damping adjuster
Loic riding Fox gear now. Hey Ross.
They're looking pretty together here! Note the BZ sponsorship.
