2011 Specialized Demo 8 II frame w/ custom build:
5 months old. Large. Boxxer R2C2 fork. 780mm Boobar uncut. Holzfeller 60mm direct mount stem. Exilir R Sl brakes(came off Demo 8 I). Sram X-9 10 Speed drivetrain. Mrp G2 Sl chainguide. Descendent crank. Thompson post. Sun EQ31 rims laced to stocker hubs off Demo 8 I (I believe Atomlab makes the hubs but don't quote me on that). MAxxis Minion DHF and Highroller tires.
Stuff to know: The bike has brand new tires, a brand new rear rim, new seals and wipers in the fork. It was completely stripped and rebuilt after one last ride on Teton Pass and it hasn't seen dirt since. The bike has seen a lot of ride time in it's short life but I can honestly say that it has been immaculately cared for since it's my job to have a running bike day in/day out... if my bike fails, I lose money, simply put. I have spring rate options for the fork and the shock for anyone 150ish lbs to 200ish lbs and am happy to set the bike up accordingly. Though it's not as light and racey as a full Demo 8 II build, I specifically chose this build to be a bike that can get the shit beat out of it every day and still ride a race stock level. I've priced it based on what other 8 IIs and Is have been going in other places and tried to factor in X-9 vs. X-0, R2C2 vs. World Cup, lots of brand new parts, etc. Might be shooting in the dark a bit.

Bought this to finally have a true DJ bike again and realized that after riding Rainmaker all day every day, an XC ride in the evening actually sounds nicer than mediocre dirt jumps in our valley. So essentially, the bike got ridden 5 times all summer. It's basically stock except for a Maxxis Holyroller/Kenda K-rad Tire combo(never seen dirt), a Juicy 5 rear brake, a 740mm Boobar, ruffian grips, a 40mm Specialized stem and some sealed bearing Specialized pedals.
Price: $700 + ship
