I've been thinking about this and times being what they are, why not buy a bike that's actually MADE in America? Not just designed here and stamped out in foreign lands. Intense, Foes, Ellsworth, SWD/Bicycle Fabrications, That new bike from Colorado, Canfield Brothers. Can anyone think of any others?

By Yayco do you mean that sweet Super-co high pivot cro-mo bike? And let's not forget Brooklyn Machine Works, speaking of high pivots.

I am thinking the same thing myself. I want to buy a dh bike actually made in the US so I was looking them up. Pretty sure Canfield Brothers bikes are NOT made in the US! The new bike in Colorado is by Gorilla Gravity. I think they are made in US.

No, Yayco is TJ Sharp's gig. Here's a proto:

But yeah, if that Superco Silencer could ever hit the market- that too.

TREK.

The Session 9.9 frames are still made in good old Wisconsin.

That new bike from Colorado, Guerrilla Gravity, is gettin' on pretty good in Whistler this week. The Beta prototypes will be out this fall, moving into production in the spring.

I'm a fool. How could I have forgotten Turner? I was reminded of them when I did a Google search of "downhill bike made in America". The first thing that came up was Intense, then this forum topic, that was cool to see, and somewhere after was Turner. Another one it listed was Jamis. I knew that they were an American company, but are there bikes actually made here?
