Selling my Yeti SB-66 Carbon Race 2013! I've built it up this spring and rode it a few times a week till September. Mechanic owned and professionally maintained throughout the riding season. The bike has 6" of travel both front and rear!
The bike is a medium. The top tube length on the SB-66 platform is a bit longer than the “norm” so it will fit a bit larger than the average medium. I’m 5’11 and it fits me well but I would not recommend for anyone taller.
Reason for selling: I plan to race XC next year so unfortunately I have to sell this guy to buy a hardtail.
Blemish on the driveside stays: The frame was developing some heel rub in the beginning of the year so I decided to put some automotive grade clear laminate on. I didn’t like the original shape so when I went to take it off the paint came with it. A bit of a forehead-slapper, but I did put a second sheet on.
Upgrades: Thompson Elite Dropper seatpost with handlebar remote. Stan’s ZTR Arch EX wheels with blue spoke nipples. Rear shock bushings.
Replaced since autumn: Rear Tire. All cable and housing.
Asking $3,800
Front suspension: Fox Factory Series 34 160 Kashima
Rear suspension: Fox Factory Series Float Kashima
Wheels: Stan’s ZTR Arch EX with blue spoke nipples
Tires: Maxxis Ardent (2.25” rear) (2.4” front)
Shifters: Shimano XT
Front derailleur: Shimano XT
Rear derailleur: Shimano XT Shadow Plus (clutch)
Crank: Shimano XT double
Cassette: Shimano XT 10 speed
Brakes: Shimano XT
Saddle: Yeti
Seatpost: Thompson Elite Dropper remote
Handlebar: Easton Havoc Carbon
Stem: Thompson X4
