Hello, I am Santa Cruz Hightower 2018 Carbon C that I built up aggressive. Please read the description in its entirety. It should answer all of your questions.
IMPORTANT: The bike comes with the WTB wheels shown in the snowy photos NOT THE RaceFace wheels in the non-snowy pictures,
Size Large - frame has some minor scuffs and chips from normal riding. Absolutely no cracks, dents or anything structural. The photos accurately depict the condition. This bike has been very well taken care of. Suspension regularly serviced, pivots cleaned, torqued, and re-greased. The bike lives in Tahoe so it hasn't been ridden in any mud (it was dry all year)
This bike is setup 29er but can run 27.5+ (up to 2.8-inch).
-Fox Float X2 shock - Just fully overhauled by Fox approximately three weeks ago. 4 rides on it since the rebuild. This is a $650 shock that is far and above the best air shock on the market. It's that good. I have had this thing serviced twice in the past year. I have ridden Super Deluxe, Monarch Plus, Cane Creek Double Barrell and this really is the best.
Fox 36 Performance Elite 150mm. I have stayed on top of rebuilds and I did a lower leg service in August. I have had a full factory rebuild and have done a leg service about three times in the past year.
SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain w/ 50t climbing ring. Two teeth on cassette are chipped...works just fine.
SRAM Dub crankset w/ dub bottom bracket. Some scuffs/dings on crank arms. Chainring is fine, does not ever drop the chain.
Shimano XT brakes - Both brakes were bled in mid-September. Approximately 8 rides since the bleed.
Carbon Santa Cruz Bars. 35mm clamp. Cut to 780mm
X-Fusion Dropper - Simple and reliable option.
Wheelset: WTB I25 rims w/ Novatec hubs. THE RACEFACE WHEELS ON THE BIKE ARE NOT INCLUDED. THE SNOWY PICTURES ARE THE WHEELS YOU WILL BE GETTING. The WTB rims w/ Novatec hubs are the stock wheels. Minimal use. Straight and tensioned.
Tires: Front - Maxxis Minion DHF 2.5 WT Rear: Maxxis Minion DHR II 2.4 WT - Both with plenty of life left.
This bike has been ridden, but it has been very very well taken care of. Mechanically, it is in good shape.
