For Sale.
2016 Nomad Carbon with the "S-Build". A couple big upgrades on this bike.
Key Upgrades:
Industry Nine Torch Enduro Wheelset. The I9 hubs are super nice and engagement is incredibly fast. The rims are nice and stiff + light.
Rock Shox Vivid Air Shock. This shock feels so much better than the stock Monarch Plus Debonair. Super stable. Has top end and bottom end rebound adjustment as well as compression. This thing is pristine.
Key Parts:
Nomad Carbon frame XL (good for a rider who is 6 ft or taller) 165mm rear wheel travel. I have applied rock tape/helicopter blade tape to some key areas.
Rock Shox Pike Solo air 160mm - changed oil and switched the fork seals and wipers out 2x this season.
Rock Shox Vivid Air shock - almost brand new, approximately 5 rides on it.
I9 Torch Enduro wheelset - rims have normal nicks/scratches, NO dents, NO Cracks, NO hops. Rear hub was opened up and regreased in June
SRAM Guide R brakes with metallic pads
GX1 1x11 drivetrain with 32x42 gearing - A new 32t ring installed in late july and a new chain installed at same time.
40mm stem
35mm x 785 Race Face bars
Schwalbe Nobby Nic 27.5 x 2.35 installed 8-26. 95% tread left
I have been riding this bike all year. Normal wear and tear.
Small scratch on stanchion of fork (smooth now). Have stayed on top of rebuilding fork and the scratch hasn't damaged anything
Cosmetic scratch on downtube (pictured) above bottom bracket. Has not compromised the carbon.I applied a couple layers of nail polish over the scratch to seal it up. ****PLEASE READ*****: Only the orange part that was damaged. the black part you see is where I cut away the rubber protective strip to inspect it. the black portion is not damaged
Asking $3500 Firm. I think this is super reasonable... the original bike retailed for $5199 + $1200 wheelset + $700 shock = over $7000 grand.
