Lenzerheide, Switzerland, was the site of the 4th UCI Downhill World Cup this season, providing plenty of tight racing and excitement. Racers were welcomed with some fresh sections and minimal weather that made the track dry, loose and high-speed with minimal room for error.
Dakotah discusses what it was like qualifying second and being fastest at the first two splits in his race run before going down and how he feels he is building going into the rest of the season. They then dive into the results sheet from each class, chat about Rachel Atherton’s return to racing, prototype bikes from Specialized and Forbidden, the depth of US Juniors at World Cups, how Myriam Nicole was less than 30-seconds off the fastest time of the day, scrubs and over jumps in race runs, and how Greg Minnaar might have looked better in Oneal gear than Fox. Enjoy!
