Vital MTB Weekly Photo Comp, Presented by Gamut USA 4

UPDATE: Jamie Ledson's killer photo of Alex Mansell 'Whipping It' takes the big win this week. Jamie will receive a P30s chain guide from Gamut USA. Runner up Jay Schultz will score some Vital MTB apparel for his beautifully lit footplant photo of Zach Kuss. Congrats, guys!

Gamut's redesigned chain guides are stronger, lighter, and simpler. No moving parts, silent chain engagement, and increased longevity make these the most  intuitive guides they've made. The new application of an o-ring reduces drag and noise making for a buttery smooth relationship between chain and lower slider. They also improved their energy displacing bash guards by beefing up the filets and changing the structure such that the area’s most vulnerable to absorbing impacts are reinforced but still allow for the appropriate flex. Aluminum inserts have also been incorporated increasing strength and forgiveness for those who may over-torque their chain ring bolts. Additional refinements such as softer durometer plastics, custom branded spacers, and reduced hardware make for well thought out, easy to install chain guide. The P30s comes in at less than 200 grams and accommodates a 35-36 tooth ring.
