So many Instagram accounts, so little time.

At the beginning of last year, all the top teams tested 29 wheels... they jammed them into 27.5 bikes and forks, shortened shocks (slackening bikes and making them more dynamic in the process!) and cut fork braces for clearance. They all posted miraculously fast times ;-) When the 'production prototypes' arrived, the miraculous times didn't look so clear cut! So here's one reason! The 27.5 40s with a cut out brace are just over 50mm offset and the 49er is nearly 60mm! When the MTB world is embracing shorter offsets, and the testing was done at 52mm? Hmmmm... Good job we have an adjustable offset program starting in time for our testing ;-)
