Vant B28 Carbon Wheels at Eurobike

The new Vant B28 Carbon wheelset looks like it could be a contender with many others on the market. The rim features a 28mm inner width, hookless design and asymmetric spoke hole placement. At each spoke hole, a forged portion of alloy rim has been bonded between the carbon layers to help distribute forces and help prevent the spoke’s nipples from pulling through which is a major cause of failure on many carbon wheels. They’re laced to a center-lock 4-pawl rear hub with bladed spokes. Pricing is TBD but should fall in the $1200-1300 USD range. Wheelsets weigh 1608g with Boost hubs.
