Trickstuff's New Direttissima Brakes at Eurobike 3

Bigger and more powerful.

Trickstuff had half of their new Direttissima brake on display.  Though not immediately obvious, the caliper pistons have been slightly enlarged to 17 and 16 mm from the current 17/14mm configuration.  In addition to the new caliper, they have a new lever being used by their team riders but it wasn't available for the show.

Based on the current design, the lever blade will be a few millimeters longer and the space and orientation between the lever pivot and master cylinder has been altered to increase leverage.  Combined with the new caliper body, these already incredibly powerful brakes are said to get another 25-percent stronger.

Apparently Mick is using the caliper and lever on his DH bike in Andorra so we'll swing by and check it out.
