The Inside Line podcast with Scott Hart continues as he discusses starting Flow magazine which eventually became turned into decline magazine under their newly-found publishing house. The ups, downs and ultimate end of Hart's run with decline is discussed in addition to the founding and demise of U.S. downhill initiative, Team America. We talk about his roll at RockShox for a few years after leaving decline and where he thinks the future of mountain bike media is headed.

Listening to these past 2 casts made sorta nostalgic and actually buy a print mtb mag today *gasp*. Definitely miss Decline, loved the larger format. Unique content will always be relevant, not the identical timed press release articles so often seen now.

Those TLD Top Gun-themed Team America jerseys were so rad, I think still have one in a box somewhere. Fun fact about Alex Morgan who was the man responsible for getting the whole thing rolling: he rode a homemade carbon BCD 29er in the finals at Mount Sainte Anne that year (2007), making him the first rider to ever race a 29er in a World Cup final (on single ply 2.3 Kenda Nevegal tires no less). What a legend!
