In just a few short years Spot Brand has created a very respectable lineup of carbon bicycles. The latest to join the stable is the Rollik 607, a 160mm travel enduro/all-mountain bike that uses a ballistic carbon fiber leaf spring in place of the traditional main pivot with bearings. Spot calls it the "Living Link." The leaf spring design has been fatigued tested to over three million cycles to ensure it'll keep you rolling.
Listen in as we discuss the new creation out of Golden, Colorado:
"The Rollik 607 builds on the success of the Rollik 557 with an updated spec and design upgrades that deliver a more aggressive, enduro-style ride and even more confident descending. Employing Spot’s patented Living Link suspension platform, the full-carbon TeXtreme Rollik 607 adds 10mm of travel front and rear and integrates a dedicated 1X drivetrain that enables a stiffer chassis and burlier connection between the front and rear triangles for increased lateral stiffness and more direct power transfer through the pedals. In short, we took a great bike, the 557, and made it even better. We call it the 607 to signify the six inches of travel and the 7er wheels."
