MRP's Latest Chainguides

Three new options for those seeking added chain retention and protection.

MRP Two-Bolt XCg and SXg Guides

What's new from MRP other than the Ribbon Coil fork? They displayed a few new chainguides at Eurobike for 2018, including the two-bolt XCg and SXg which are designed for trail and enduro use. These guides are made for frames with only the lower two ISCG05 tabs, which is becoming increasingly popular as bike companies try to optimize their suspension designs and pivot placement. Both guides offer some bash protection, and the SXg gives additional chain security for 32-36 tooth chainrings.

MRP 1X CS Guide

Also new is the 1x CS chainguide. CS stands for Core Series which is meant to be MRP’s affordable line of chainguides. At just 33g, this lightweight, glass-filled composite chainguide fits chainrings from 28-34 teeth and has a co-molded upper guide to keep things ultra quiet.
