The new MET Roam helmet comes in two versions, one with MIPS at 170€ ($200 USD) and one without MIPS at 150€ ($175 USD). Weight was a big focus on this helmet, and they were able to keep things down to a very reasonable 350g. The helmet has a three-position visor which is goggle compatible and you'll note small slits on the side of the visor to help guide the goggle strap. The visor itself is very flexible to help prevent breakage in the event of fall, and also keeps the helmet from adding rotational stress to your neck and spine if the visor were to dig into the ground during a crash. The helmets have a 360-degree fit system that is also adjustable in the vertical direction. MET makes an optional clip-on light for an added cost that makes you more visible from the back. Deep channels inside the helmet encourage good ventilation.
