Lots of New 100% Mountain Bike Gear

2018 100% Mountain Bike Apparel

100% had their new line of apparel on display which includes the new R-CORE-X downhill apparel. Those familiar with 100%’s existing R-CORE line will find that the new R-CORE-X apparel is much lighter weight. The new pants feature a 4-way stretch for maximum mobility while on the bike. Features include a shock cord waist adjustment and taped seams. You’ll find laser cut vents on the jersey, pants, and shorts. 

Also seen in the photos are the new 2018 goggle and helmet colors as well as some updates to the Airmatic and Celium apparel lines. 

100% Racecraft+ Goggle

Due out this November, 100% has developed a new lens for their Racecraft goggle series with a pre-curved shaped that helps reduce distortion. The shape improves performance when the lens is impacted which could be especially useful for moto riders and in some instances, mountain bikers as well. When viewed from the side, you’ll notice that the lens has a stepped thickness which allows it to fit in the frame. The lens is made from an HD polycarbonate material and features a new mirrored tint for 100%.

100% Gloves

New for 2018, 100% went back to the drawing board to come up with new designs for all of their gloves, bringing a fresh visual aesthetic to the brand. One glove in particular sees a lot of updates for the new year - the Celium 2 now has a shorter cuff and a low-profile Velcro closure. It still maintains the very thin profile for riders seeking a glove that’s great for use on hot days or those who prefer a minimalist design.

100% Hydramatic Apparel

100% is introducing a waterproof line of mountain biking apparel called the Hydramatic series. Pieces include a waterproof jacket, shown here in orange, as well as a pair of shorts. Unlike many waterproof shorts that we’ve seen in the past, the Hydramatic shorts are very lightweight and the material is near silent when rubbed against itself. All seams are taped in key locations. The Hydramatic line pairs well with 100%’s Brisker gloves lineup which will also include a Hydramatic version, shown in light blue, with a longer cuff and waterproof material to keep you dry on wet days.
