KHS Sixfifty 6600+ Carbon Mountain Bike 8

All-new, all-carbon bike could be the raddest KHS to date.

While perusing the 2018 KHS line up, we spotted the new Sixfifty 6600+ tucked away in a corner. It could be KHS's raddest ride to date however, thanks to a full carbon frame and an all-new suspension design.

The suspension design is based on the virtual pivot concept with a one-piece rear triangle to help keep things stiff. Though details weren't readily available, we believe the bike has 150mm of rear travel and 160mm up front. The bike we saw features a pretty burly build with a FOX 36 Float fork up front, a Shimano XT/SLX 1x11 drivetrain, and a FSA Gamut Pro crankset paired to an 11-speed Sunrace cassette.

Furthermore, the bike on display was equipped with 27.5+ tires from Maxxis in a 2.8" size, which makes us inclined to think that it will work with 29" wheels as well. Key geometry figures include a 66.5-degree headangle, a 74-degree seat tube angle, 457mm chainstay length and 345mm BB height. Reach measurements are on the shorter side, spanning from 405mm to 457mm over the S to XL size range. The Sixfifty 6600+ slots in at a very reasonable price point of $3999 to $4299 USD.
