There was no dust settling at the 2017 U.S. National Championships of Mountain Biking DH today, but there was plenty of mud flying around. Overnight thunderstorms kept the competitors guessing on race day as they battled a technical and slippery rock-filled course. Aaron Gwin pushed hard enough and held it together long enough to earn his 8th National Champs title. Jill Kintner kept her string of wins alive today, too with a convincing victory once again in the Pro Women's class.
Enjoy some candid post-race interviews thanks to Neko Mulally, who should have been up there battling for the gold, but instead was sidelined with injury this year. A big thanks to Neko and his brother Logan for the pics and audio today and throughout the weekend of racing in West Virginia! #USDH
