Freeride slayer, Antoine Bizet has been hard at work, ripping it up in the U.S. Enjoy the videos, photos and his recap from an epic trip to the desert southwest and California.
Antoine escaped the bad weather in Europe to keep training during the off-season. We stayed 2 weeks in Utah to build a slopestyle line with a drop, a big air, a step down and a step up. That was a good training line. We also had few runs on local downhill tracks, such as Flying Monkey and King Kong, with a cool local crew. Will White stayed with us few days to ride at the old Rampage site. After a good preparation, Antoine decided to ride the top part of his 2012’s line at the new Rampage site.
After that we had couple days in Aptos. It was good to ride with the locals, they showed the lines to Antoine. They are crazy good riders and it was very nice meeting these kids. We believe Cam McCaul has been a good teacher to them. Brett Rheeder came around for a session, great show! Kent Johnson from NorcalProductions gave us a hand during our time in Aptos, we’ve got now some fancy slow-motion in our episode! You can see the full edit here.
To finish this trip in California we went to Woodward Tahoe, where we met Paul Basagoitia. Then we headed back to Utah for another week, Ethen Godfrey-Roberts came for few days and Antoine landed a new trick on a drop.
