Fender Time All the Time? 3

It doesn't matter if it's muddy or dusty, these lightweight fenders seem to always make sense.

We thought nothing of including the Memory Pilot fender in the latest Vital MTB Gear Club because they just always seem to make sense. Sure, it's nice to keep the mud and muck out of your eyes but don't forget about your fork wipers. Even in dry conditions, those things can get caked in trail debris. A fender keeps them a bit cleaner and reduces wear.

When you have tacky front tires they tend to fling lots of rocks into your downtube/frame area and the fender helps protect your frame from that.

Local trails here are usually dry and dusty and a fender helps a bit to keep my water bottle a bit cleaner. Also helps to shield it from the occasional puddle / river crossing.
