Vital Member Bike vs. Bike - Canyon Torque or Propain Spindrift

Big travel, coil shocks, meaty tires, plenty of bling and ready for serious shredding - how can you possibly choose between these two fun-making machines?

There's the theory that the modern-day mindset ensuring everyone is a winner and no one is a loser has eroded humanity's future greatness. Awarding trophies and medals for participation will backfire. Telling children they're good at something when they're really not results in delusions of grandeur that are squished when they hit the "real world." Thank goodness this is just the internet and we're only talking about mountain bikes because in this particular contest, everyone wins.

Two bikes pulled from our Vital member Bike Check section are poised, side by side, waiting for your all-knowing judgement. One bike is dedicated to the park with slammed dirt jump saddle and tight cassette cluster while the other has a dropper post and wide-range drivetrain. They both get a boatload of rear travel (175mm for the Torque, 180mm for the Spindrift), have SR Suntour forks and big, meaty tires. Blingy Hope goods adorn both whips and the stems are nice and short. Each of these machines are worthy the highest marks, but  now you have to do the right thing and vote. If you were forced to make a choice between these two kick-ass Vital member bikes, which would you choose?
