Custom home-made steel high-pivot 24
Parts
General Info
I'm Wes, I'm 19 years old, and I fabricated this bike in my driveway over this past winter (22'-23'). There is nothing too complicated about it, just a single piece rear suspension with that high-pivot design. 180mm front travel, 183mm rear travel, and 29" wheels front and rear. Anything on the bike that is round is actual bicycle-specific tubing from Bicycle Fabrication Supply, and anything that is square-edged is from Home Depot. Everything is MIG welded, and the frame features tube-in-tube cable and hose routing for ease of maintainence. Although the bike is 45 pounds, it does pedal really well and will get me to the top of any local climb comfortably enough.
