Additional Info

In 2023 I was riding a Santa Cruz Nomad at 170/170mm and a Chromag Darco at 120/150mm and decided that for 2024 I really wanted something lighter than both and sportier too. Enter the 5010 with a means business build kit. Today's shorter travel trail bikes will blow your mind if you try one out.

Some extras that I tossed on too:

Aenomaly Switchgrade seat angle adjuster that I got for Christmas - it's pretty great for those of us with steeper, longer climbs.

AVS Handguards have grown on me. I got them years ago for the stinging nettle and Devil's club, then it was sage brush, but now it's just for looks as we don't have a lot of trail side debris up here.

Chromag Black and Silver Headset spacers, Chromag Seat Post Quick Release, Ground Keeper front fender, and a Send for Spenny top cap to tie the colors all together.

Santa Cruz's Glove box with a 70cc OneUp Pump (Mini tool inside), regular tube, chain tool, and tire lever to keep me moving in case of a flat. Then there's a Wolftooth/Kingcage Ti bottle cage mounted to the Glovebox as hydration is important.
