picture taken on it's last ride, I stripped most of the parts for my new bike the next morning.
an older build without the new grips, wider bars, and with the old fork decals
ride on in semi truck heaven, you big bitch
one of the oldest builds I have pictures of, the fork, cranks, derailleur and cassette in this picture have all since broken. shame really
when I first got the fox 36, words can't describe how excited I was to get that fork, I miss that first ride with it.
I miss those aloha bmx pedals, they had absolutely zero grip but they were so pretty
the day I bought it, everything you see here for 150$. that was the most expensive 150$ I ever spent...
it's original intention was just to be a single speed street bike to mess around with
this is the oldest picture I have of it fully built, in all it's ghetto glory. also pictured is my actual first mtb, my 2003 rockhopper, maybe some day I'll dig up pics of that machine

Additional Info
this bike went through so much shit, I rode this bike for years, I learned so much with this bike. I Built this bike up from almost nothing all through high school, I rode this thing everywhere, and it almost never belonged on the trails I rode. There's almost not a single part of this bike that wasn't swapped out multiple times, and what was swapped was rarely for something lighter. I grew with this bike, and every challenge it presented me taught me what makes me a good rider and mechanic today. I had technical setbacks on it, I had crashes, I broke parts of the bike, I broke parts of myself. Hell, I got launched off this thing from a nose case and broke my damn spine, and this bike didn't even need the bars realigned. This bike is mostly taken apart now, and a lot of the pieces are either on other bikes, or have been sold off to finance new parts, but I'll never forget it. I won't really miss it, it sucked to pedal, but I'm thankful for it nonetheless.
