I ride bikes for fun. Fun makes me smile. Smiling makes me faster. No need for 29" wheels when the bike wants to gap the root infestation. Flick, whip and jack-rabbit down the trail is a great way to live.
The DPX2 is more sensitive than the included SuperDeluxe and 70g lighter. The SD feels like the DPX2 with the low-speed compression wound in a bit too much for me. Fast rebound retains the perkiness since the new linkage wants to eat chunder moreso than the old 5010. Fast rebound helps give you wings when you need them. The .40cc volume spacer seems perfect for bottom resistance. The shock is also far slimmer so it is easier to reach the sag ring and lube/clean the shock stanchion.
The backup 350/ARC 30 wheelset might save my ass because this bike welcomes more abuse than the poor 400g Blunt SS rims will tolerate. For now, they will suffer.
Weight is without pedals.
