Last weekend it was time to head over to Winterberg for IXS Dirt Masters Festival. Myself, Marius Butterweck and Linus Ott went to Bikepark Winterberg on Friday.

The Weather Forecast wasn´t that good for a Festival. But as we arrived at Winterberg the sun was out. After a quick check in at the Hotel we jumped on the bikes and rode a few laps in the Slopestyle, Conti Track and Four Cross. In the evening it was time for Cash for Tricks. The riders delivered a sick show.

On Saturday Marius and me were shredding the Freeride and Freecross in Partyride mode while Linus had his Seeding at the Downhill Race. After his Race he joined us for a few laps. the time passed fast and we had to go to the WhipOff Jump in the Four Cross. It´s really windy at this time and the weather is switching between snowfall and sunshine. The weather did not affect the mood of the crowd which was going crazy. The atmosphere at whip offs was sick and I had a lot of fun to go sideways with my Kona Process 167 through the yelling crowd.

Sunday started with rain.  After breakfast we got our Lifttickets and started with where we left off yesterday - partyride. Through the rain, it´s even more fun to shred the berms. We made a short brake to watch the last runs of the Elite athe Downhill Race. Ed Masters was shreddding hard and won the race.

At the Four Cross the girls and boys were fighting hard for the placement with huge Chrashes.

Strengthened with pizza we went to Muh Ve In for the Riders Party on Sunday night. The shack was packed and the people were in a good mood.

On Monday morning we were just walking around and watched the exhibitor booths. In the afternoon we drove home.

In summary, the festival was simply  the hammer once again despite the changeable weather.

The spokes of our wheels are all so loose and I ´m looking forward with renewed tension for the next partyride.

Cheers
