Cool build. How is the bike holding up?
Noticed you are running a long fork on the non-st version of the frame. Currently they limit that to the st version. Any thoughts on that?

It's held up flawlessly with plenty of park riding, jumps, drops, etc. Absolutely no problems. The fork is at 150mm. The ST option wasn't out yet when I bought this frame. Very happy overall.

thanks! yes i had to special order that color and they won't offer a warranty on the finish. i think they stopped using the translucent colors because they chip easily.

Awesome build! I was considering this frame and trying not to have regrets about not getting one (:
What's the tyre clearance like? I read a review that said "not great" but it looks like you have a pretty chunky rear in there. Any chance of a 27.5+ fitting you think?

hey thanks! I've been enjoying it a lot. Highly recommended for all mountain riding! that rear tire measures about 2.4 and has room to fit a 2.6, though I'm not familiar enough with 27.5+ to know its fit. The guys at nicolai were very helpful on email.. I would send them the question, I'm sure they know.

Sweet build! I've been eyeing one of these. I noticed the tension piece behind the shock is not installed. Curious as to why or why not.

I ordered it with the seat tube gussets omitted. To do that they had to increase wall thickness of the seat tube. I looked at the tension bar for a while and determined its not doing enough to make me worry about running it. I could be wrong, not too concerned either way.

hey thanks! the warden is my second supermax lefty. very stiff and very light for a 160 fork. I went lyrik this time to change it up but the supermax seems just as good on the trail.
