the more things get old, the more they stay the same. that frame is rad, quite a few visual references to the new DH team frame, imo.

Looks great. Still got mine in the shed. Built it up and rode it last summer here in Japan. Frame and shock went well but 12 yo Boxxers just weren't up to task.

Old bikes look kinda cool with modern components; kinda like the nerdy girl in high heals and a little makeup - you wouldn't have looked before, but in that form, kinda hot.

Pics like this me feel old but then again they make me think back to the days of riding Big Bear when very few bikes could hold their own with that specialized. Don't get me wrong I'm not forgetting about Intense,Foes, and Mountain Cycle but man those where fun times

Pretty sure that is a 2001 frame. Last frame Specialized made in the USA and it is a Palmer Replica....

so rad! i had this frame but with a monster t and green double wides. no joke, LOL. still one of my favorite looking bikes of all time.
