Photo Blast - BME - Big Sky, Montana 1

The 2020 Yeti Cycles Big Mountain Enduro, presented by Maxxis, made its Big Sky, Montana stop. Lucky for us, jamesstokoephoto was there for the shots!

With racing starting to get rolling again in both the US and the rest of the world, the racers were stoked at the opportunity to get back between the tape. Unfortunately the Big Mountain Enduro had to cancel the first two stops of this years series, Santa Fe and Angel Fire so everyone was raring to go in Big Sky, Montana and the pro field was stacked. This race brought out some heavy hitting US riders to go head to head on eight steep, rough and rowdy stages.

In the Pro Men class, Mitch Ropelato took first place in a sea of Yeti riders grabbing the other 4 podium spots. The Pro Woman's race saw Porsha Murdock grab the top spot, with Stefanie McDaniel taking second and Kate Lawrence rounding out the three.

The event went off without a hitch and there were smiles everywhere, well, we assume as masks very in full force. Everyone is buzzing about the next stop in Winter Park, CO in September!

The event village was small compared to past years due to social distancing, everyone complied with precautions and we're looking forward to more vendors next year!

The new Ram Charger lift made getting 5 bikes up the hill in a flash.

There was an e-bike category, love them or hate them they're here to stay. And besides, they're way too much damn fun.

Views everywhere.

3rd Place Pro Woman Kate Lawrence.

On stage 6 Mitch found himself with a hand injury...possible broken knuckle, but then he went on to win the whole event, so there's that.
