Öhlins Racing, one of the world’s most respected performance brands, has launched a lightweight and highly progressive mountain bike trail fork fully optimized for demanding, next-level trail riding performance. The new Öhlins RXF36 m.3 features an all-new chassis built around the race-winning TTX18 damping technology - used in the DH38 Race Fork by Loic Bruni, the 2024 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Downhill champion. This technology has been adapted to deliver its renowned top-tier traction and control on the most demanding trails. Paired with the new chassis, the fork delivers ultra-sensitive tracking over small bumps while maintaining Öhlins' signature precise steering and predictable handling—no matter how long or hard it's pushed.
The RXF36 m.3 features increased internal bushing overlap and an optimized configuration for 140-160mm travel on 29” wheels (up to 170mm for 27.5”), along with crown offsets of 38, 44, and 51mm. With its updated settings and reduced chassis friction, the fork offers improved sensitivity for greater traction and comfort to conquer any trail.
The RXF36 m.3 fork is the perfect choice for the performance-oriented trail rider. The adjustment range is specifically designed for tough trails and provides 16 clicks of low-speed compression, 3 clicks of high-speed compression, and 16 clicks of rebound adjustment. It features Öhlins' floating axle design for minimal friction and weighs 2050 g (including bolts and axle). The air spring is cartridge-based and can be easily swapped between coil and air if desired.

"The RXF36 platform has evolved since its introduction in 2016, and because it’s so easy to tune, it served as our do-it-all fork for a long time - ranging from short-travel trail bikes to long-travel enduro rigs," said Thomas Westfeldt, Senior Manager of Product Management MTB/AUTO/MC at Öhlins Racing. "As our product line has continued to grow, it was time to give the RXF36 a new chassis, making it a sensitive and predictable trail weapon positioned between the RXF34 and the RXF38."
The RXF36 m.3 continues Öhlins’ nearly 50-year history of delivering technologically superior suspension products, which now also includes solutions for all types of mountain bikes and riding preferences. The Öhlins range for mountain bikes stretches from downhill to cross country and our devotion to evolving suspension performance is grounded in our mission to improve our customers’ rides.
