Orbea 2023 Wild M-Team
Parts
General Info
New to my stable is the 2023 Orbea Wild M-Team with just a few modifications done to it. This is Orbea's full power E-Bike with the 750wh battery and the Bosch CX smart system. I have kept the bike close to Team specs but did swap wheels out for Hifi Session 30 and put on Maxxis DD tires vs the EXO+.
Everything about the 2023 Wild is different from the previous version and I am really excited about it. If you have experience with the Orbea Rallon you will feel right at home on this bike. The first ride was very intuitive and with a big drop in weight the bike feels easier to manage in tighter terrain and in the air.
The new cockpit system developed by Orbea has been performing well and I prefer it over the stiffer Race Face products. The stem/cable interface works well and combined with the new Bluetooth Bosch thumb control it keeps the cockpit looking clean.
I am still getting use to the full power feel after riding the Orbea Rise for the past two years. I still need more time on the Wild before I can make comparisons but right off the bat I will say I am really going to like the Wild. This is mainly from how easy it has been to throw around on the trail and the smooth motor feel. Orbea and Bosch have done a great job with the new updates.
