Additional Info

I've been riding this this frameset since 2010, originally with SLX M665 drivetrain, dropperpostless, with indestructible Novatec hubs on Spank Tweet Tweet rims aka Superstar Components. Since then it has seen only few dramatic changes which I now deeply regret that I haven't made sooner.

1, In 2015 I designed and got machined suspension links to accomodate ball bearings instead of original bushings crap. There are two ENDURO MAX bearings on each side of both main pivots, ID 17mm. All bearings are in place and nicely working, still after 7 years!

2, In 2022 Works Components Angleset -2° headset replaced the original 1.5" Superstar Components headset.

3, In 2022 the WHEELS. I completed long process of designing, getting manufactured and built wheels of my own design. The front hub is standard 110x20mm, non-boost with beautiful ID 25mm bearings :-).
The rear hub is my design of the same concept used by ONYX, BOX, True Precisions, and some else long before them. My design can switch between sprag clutch and one-way roller clutch. It doesn't use any dust seals, yet it stays nicely clean inside. The biggest difference however it its robustness as it uses larger diameter clutches than ONYX Classic or True Precision.
What I love about this type of clutch is its engagement speed, elasticity and the feeling of void when you literally can only feel and know that you are actually falling as there is no sound telling you how fast your riding.

165mm cranks are another very helpfull improvement.
Spank Spike 777 Evo handlebars are original, being ridden since 2010. I'm never going to lay them off.
