I think the VPP patent only covers counter rotating straightish links with pivots at the ends . This one has a pivot in the middle. To me it looks more like a version of the knuckle box from Diamond Back, but with a link on the bottom too.

Wouldn't the counter-rotating links fall under the VPP patent?

Thanks bro. It's the proto version, Kross Bikes still work on this bike. The suspension is their own project RVS system. With Air DHX shox it works just sweet. Have you seen the movie from one of test ride? If not, here it is: http://www.pinkbike.com/video/291165/
