MS Racing Parts Ways With Intense Cycles

Sometimes plans just don’t pan out. Intense came back on board with MS Racing at the beginning of 2024, but unfortunately our goals for the future have gone in different directions.

We’re proud to say we gave Intense their first world cup win in over a decade; Ele Farina put in a stunning performance in Les Gets, reading the weather better than anyone and riding an unreal race. Over the past year, we achieved milestones that we’ll carry with us forever. From podium finishes to personal bests, every achievement was a testament to the combined effort of the riders, the MS Racing crew, and the Intense team. These moments of triumph and the lessons learnt along the way have become part of our story, shaping us as individuals and as a team.

In our opinion, the future of mountain biking innovation lies in gearbox technology. We made an introduction between Pinion and Intense, which allowed them to develop their existing platform to allow a gearbox, so they could really start to test what we think is the most efficient technology for mountain bikes that isn’t being utilised to its full potential. Intense managed to build an M1 with a gearbox and start developing that bike with our help, and we hope they can continue that experiment.
 

This marks another chapter closing in MS Racing’s story. We’re grateful for Jeff and the rest of the Intense team coming on board. Intense is a great brand with a big history, and we are stoked to have been a part of it. We’re looking forward to watching them build this year and going forward, and lining up with them in the start gate this year. 

As for our future, we’ve had something cooking on the back burner for a while now; we’ll update everyone on our future in the coming weeks.
