There’s a new advanced high-speed tech trail coming to Northwest Oregon. The Westside Trail Federation has secured permitting to build ‘Bat Country’, a spicy-black descent that sits comfortably between the now-classic Fear and Loaming trail and the rowdy Gnarstow DH trail. Expect plenty of opportunities to get the tires loose, get off the brakes and really put your suspension to the test. Trailwork is set to start with the rain this fall, and the all-volunteer W.T.F. crew are stoked to get this trail ready to rip by the spring.
All this new trail doesn’t come cheap, even with a huge crew of volunteer builders and support from local shops, and so the Westside Trail Federation have partnered with RockShox and Cascade Bikes to raffle off a one-of-a-kind Zeb fork to raise money to complete the Bat Country trail!
The winner will not only get this brand new Zeb fork in Plum Crazy purple, with custom graphics printed by Slik Graphics, but also the chance to be the first person to ride Bat Country on opening day along with the build crew.
The details:
The winner, randomly chosen from entries on our RallyUp page will receive a one-of-a-kind RockShox ZEB Ultimate 29, with a Charger 3.1 damper tuned by Cascade Bikes for PNW tech, in the winners choice of travel from 160mm to 190mm, with either custom purple lowers (shown) or stock high-gloss black lowers/ standard graphics if you aren't that fancy.
...PLUS The opportunity to join the builders on opening day and be the first person to ride Bat Country top-to-bottom. Think of the clout; your Youtube algorithm won't know what hit it!
ONE MORE CHANCE, ENTER HERE!
The fine print: 100% of the proceeds (RallyUp's fees excepted) go towards building Bat Country and tuning up Gnarstow and Fear and Loaming. Ain't nobody getting paid on this team. Must be 18 to win, open to entrants in North America only, please try to be local(ish) if you're gonna join us on opening day, and no, we don't know exactly when that will be.
