2016 California Enduro Series Round 5: Ashland Mountain Challenge, Recap

The 5th round of the California Enduro Series took racers just over the California border into beautiful Ashland, Oregon for the ever-popular Ashland Mountain Challenge put on by the fine folks withAshland Mountain Adventures. Mother Nature gifted the event with great race weather and trail conditions were pretty damn sweet.

Shuttles up to the top of Mount Ashland were booked well in advance for practice Friday.

TRP Brake Zone winners. Ryan Gorman clocked the fastest men's speed through the zone at 33.9 mph, while Amy Morrison came through the fastest of the women at 30.4, with Kathy Pruitt and Amy Oppen not far behind.
