Im actually preserving the geo thats supposed to be with a 170 fork. I think the 38 has a longer AC height vs the Zeb, which I assume is what Evil used for all geo nos. I noticed when I switched to XLow more pedal strikes have happened even with 165 cranks. And as you can see my stem is slammed to the top cup. Lol

if you have a -1 angleset like the spec says you likely arent preserving stock geo. 10mm of fork equals 0.5 of HA. Youd be better off w a 10mm crown race spacer and normal headset than an angleset if youre tying to keep geo stock.

I measured actual nos. on the bike with the 160 38 on low, the bb ht was at 355mm. I was surprised because that's the supposed bb with a 170 29er fork, I dunno why with the discrepancy. Put it in xlow, and I like it better. I like the front end low hence why the stem is slammed. Gotta post new pics to relieve teh confusion.
