About Me
Just a weekend XC warrior rides mix of road and hard pack trails and a convert 29er.
Been on a 26er for 2 years now which is also the time where i start some mountain biking. I bike for the health of my body and also to challenge the strengths of my mind.
My first bike was a 2012 Trek 3700, bought it in middle of August 2011. A pretty decent beginner mountain bike to ride some leisure XC trails. As I got more into mountain biking and knowledgeable about bikes (Thank you Bikeradar, MTBR and of course Vital MT , I sold my Trek and move on to a better bike. On July 7th 2012, I bought my second bike which is a 2012 Giant Talon 0. Pretty much a more than a decent mountain bike with a 10 speed drive train and first time experiencing air suspension forks (Recon). At the beginning of the new years in 2013, I've tried a 29er bike which is a 2013 Trek Mamba. What I've was expecting is a not much different experience or bad to the 26er and boy how I was wrong. And because of that, I've sold my Giant and went on to a 29er. My third and current bike is a Merida Big.Nine TFS 500. Pretty much everything I want despite some components downgrades from the Giant (will be upgrading those in the later months). But nevertheless, rides very well in a gnarly XC trails.
That's pretty much about me in a mtb rider perspective.
