Instead of buying a new bike, I opted to invest in new suspension and I can truly say I'm loving the DVO set up. This Bronson feels so good to ride (like a new bike). It definitely helps that their shop is close to where I live, so getting my bike set up was a cool experience.

Sweet sweet build, except for the color and routing of the rear brake hose.....run the rear brake hose under the TT above/through the rear shock mounts then inside the rear triangle.

You wont regret it. Im running one on my 2017 bronson and it feels like a new bike as well. The monarch it replaced felt dead or muted to me. Impacts were absorbed but it didnt have much support at all. I put a band in the negative chamber of the topaz and three in the positive so its soft off the top but progressive through the mid and end stroke. I use full travel every ride and never feel it bottom. Its a solid shock and totally worth the cash. Beats out more expensive stuff easy. Hope this helps.

I was using the Cane Creek DB-CS. I wanted to try DVO after hearing so many good things about it. I'm glad I made the switch. 1. Setting it up was so much easier than the CCDB, especially based on how I like my shock to ride when I'm climbing. I could never get the CCDB to stay up in it's travel while climbing even with the CS turn on, it felt like more of a gimmick. With DVO Topaz the climb switch works just as advertised and I'm climbing so much better with it. Now let's go to the decent. After several runs on the Topaz I stopped to check and see if I had a flat tire because it was eating up chunking section like nothing. By no means am I pro rider, but I love to ride and this DVO set up has definitely put a smile on my face. I hope that helps!!! Not to mention you can call them and they will talk with you about the set up that best fits you.

Sweet build and can confirm that rear shock is hands down amazing. So buttery smooth and supportive. Easily tunable using positive and negative air chambers. So good I bought the Diamond boost too but waiting for new wheelset to run it. The wait is killing me.

Thanks! I'm definitely a DVO fan boy after my experience with their stuff. The way they respond back when you need help is the first I've experienced with a suspension company.... Buttery smooth is spot on ?

What can you compare the Topaz to? There aren't too many reviews or reports besides "awesome" or "I love it!"
