Trail Tap is one of Socal's best trail builders. His creations take inspiration from Canadian Rock slab and desert flow. He grew up in Chicago during the 90's and had dreams to come out west. He packed up his Subaru and drove out here as an 18 year old and never looked back. This video is a tribute to the heyday of the 90's. The bikes were quite bad but they were beautiful and flashy. This build takes inspiration from the iconic gator fade Klein Adroit. A bike that holds sentimental value to Trailtap's heart. This project is all about the nostalgia and bringing that feeling into the modern era of long & low ultra capable mountain bikes. The bike of choice was a Santa Cruz 5010 with fox suspension, shimano drive train, enve wheels and ti bolts all the way around. We hope others can appreciate the build the same way we do. This is the story behind the creation of a modern Gator fade Klein Adroit.
