After a successful 2014 season, the team are ready to tackle more than just racing for 2015. Made up of passionate riders from the San Francisco Bay Area and forged into a team at Trail Head Cyclery in San Jose, the team is on a mission to continue their involvement in the sport. They will continue building from the top, with racing, product testing, writing reviews, and making edits, but what they have come to realize is the importance of building our sport up from the bottom. Reinforcing the foundation of what we all love is crucial to the growth and expansion of the sport as a whole. THIS IS WHERE WE NEED YOUR HELP. Through trail building, trail advocacy, working with non-profits, and working within our communities and underprivileged communities, Trail Head Racing wants to be involved. But WE WANT YOUR INPUT. What do our fellow riders want to see us doing? Trail advocacy? Fundraising for local trail organizations? Help put on more races and get more people into the sport?

With plans to string together another solid race season in 2015 after 27 races in 2014, there is a lot of ground to be covered in the USA and Canada. THR has planned to put all of their travels to use, planning stops between races to give back to the sport. They are currently building a mobile racing headquarters that will function as their vehicle, housing, media creation center, and community outreach mothership. A huge opportunity has been extended to the team that will make building the 16 foot, half garage and half office and living space a reality. Kind Snacks is giving away $10,000 to support a community cause and THR will be fighting for the top spot in a public vote to be the November winner. Past winners have generated over 17,000 votes and with the help of pinkbiker's votes, their input, and suggestions THR wants to make a permanent impact of the world of MTB.

The team has campaigned for TEAM support by reaching out to companies to help them with their racing costs, but now they are focused on their COMMUNITY support, and need your help bringing in as many votes as possible on the Kind website.

THR has already planned events including trail build days in Santa Cruz and Downieville and are seeking other legal build projects. They also have planned bike repair days in the San Francisco bay area to repair donated bikes for low income students at several high schools and elementary schools. The team will also continue its involvement with the non-profit A Little 4 A Lot, helping girls in Kenya gain independence through education and vocational training. More race events are being planned, including more “Speed Traps” after the success of the 2014 Sea Otter Classic Speed Trap where racers won prizes, money, and raised money for theA Little 4 A Lot by hitting top speeds on the racecourse, monitored by radar guns in the highest speed section.
