The summer race season kicked off to a dry and dusty start with Remarks DH delivering the goods at the first race of the season in Queenstown.
Remarks DH is best described as a classic old school DH trail with glacier rock gardens and an epic hip jump, short, fast and fun.
The race was presented by Queenstown Bike Taxis and Arrow Bikes raising $500 for Queenstown Mountain Bike Club.
Local Jamie Lyall took out the event with a time of 2.03.5 for the second year in a row. Hot on his heels were the under 19's with Fletcher Sharman at 2.09.
Kathy Morris blitz an impressive turnout of local ladies with a time of 2.29.7.
Plenty of antics and exertion by all on a hot and dusty start to what's looking to be an epic summer of biking.
