2022 NW Cup #5 - Silver Mtn, ID 1

Wow, what a weekend and month! Back to back races in Whitefish, and now Silver Mountain in Kellogg, ID. This past weekend the NW Cup crew took the short drive from Whitefish to Kellogg, ID to take a ride up North America's longest single stage gondola to race the dust and rocks at the top of the mountain.

Yet again the story of the weekend (besides a few flats) was the Junior dominance.  The top 3 Junior men led by Asa Vermette had the fastest runs on the day.  This wasn't just limited to the men either.  Junior rider Aletha Ostgaard also bested the pro women (including sister Taylor) with the fastest time for the women.  It is clear that the juniors in DH are stong and only coming on stronger as we keep moving forward!

Ready and excited to get those laps in!
