JMHV's Ridiculous(ly fun) Orbea Singlespeed 5
Parts
General Info
I have been over hardtails for a long time, but I also love a good singlespeed. When Orbea updated the Laufey with a 460 reach and 65.5 head angle with a 140mm fork, I reckoned the time had come again. This rig is a blast with the big tires and modern geometry, the 32x19T magic gear is perfect for my terrain and fairly lazy attitude towards SS, and it's so rad to have a silent bike that requires almost no maintenance.
Ti bolts throughout (just because) and custom Enve wheelset with OEM silver DT 240 straight pull hubs add a bit of flare, but this rig is mostly business. I started with a lighter pair of Rekon tires but immediately put these on and you can imagine the improvement. I seriously need to put on a fork fender.
